Buck Lane Exterior Upgrade

The Project: HBA completely renovated and restored several exterior features of this Haverford home. The existing roof was replaced with a beautiful, Georgian brick, Certainteed Grand Manor fiberglass shingle. A Verscico fully adhered rubber roof system was installed on the front porch roof area along with two tru-wall copper drains.

The existing gutters and downspouts were removed and replaced with new 6” round copper gutters with new roof shanks on main house and 4” round rain spouts on the lower roof sections. New copper snow guards were also added along the front and back main roof sections. Custom form hard copper was added to complete the front portico roof along with a window well and two eyebrow dormers. New copper step flashing and counter flashing was also installed where necessary.

HBA installed new cedar perfections at a 5” exposure to three dormer walls and a Certainteed Shinglevent II continuous ridge vent (hip over system) to provide passive positive air pressure along ridge sections.
